CARNELA RENÉE HILL
Carnela Renée Hill is a faith-driven leader, educator, author, speaker, and podcaster who leads with clarity, confidence, and compassion. With more than 26 years of entrepreneurial experience and advanced degrees in business and theology, she equips leaders, strengthens communities, and inspires transformational change.
An award-winning entrepreneur, chaplain, and strategic advisor, Carnela is the Founder and CEO of C3 Impact Strategies, where she helps leaders, founders, executives, and organizations navigate change, crisis, and growth through coaching, chaplaincy, and leadership development. Her work operates at the intersection of faith, leadership, and resilience, empowering individuals and organizations to move forward with purpose and confidence.
A passionate advocate for small businesses, women entrepreneurs, and underserved communities, Carnela is the author and co-author of Walking Afraid, Walking Afraid Journal, and The Fight: Declaring to Win. Through her writing, speaking, and mentoring, she equips people to face uncertainty with courage, wisdom, and faith.
Before entering full-time leadership and ministry, Carnela taught business and interior design at the collegiate level, blending creativity with strategy and innovation. Her work has earned regional and national recognition, including being named a Top 10 Designer in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region, decorating the White House for Christmas, and participating in national conversations on issues impacting small businesses and communities.
Known for her ability to connect with diverse audiences and inspire action, Carnela has received numerous honors for leadership, advocacy, and community impact, including the NAWBO Gillian Rudd Advocacy of the Year Award. She has served on multiple nonprofit and corporate boards and currently serves in leadership with organizations dedicated to strengthening communities and improving quality of life.
Carnela holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University, an Executive MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Arts in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School, and a Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid for adults and youth and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Contextual Leadership with a concentration in Religion and Public Policy.
In addition to her professional and ministry leadership, Carnela serves as Founder and President of Thrive Resource Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping youth, young adults, and families with the resources, skills, and support they need to thrive.
An international speaker who has shared her message in Israel, Italy, Kenya, and across the United States, Carnela is known for helping audiences move from inspiration to action.
