Award winning interior designer, motivational speaker, coach, inspirational leader, business strategist, and political advisor, Carnela Renée Hill, is the CEO and Principal Designer of CR Hill Design Group (CRHDG), LLC. She is a 2015 White House Decorator and a top designer in the North Carolina area. She has been a guest on the HGTV White House Christmas special. Carnela is a social media influencer with four podcast shows. She has been identified in The Wall Street Journal as "One of the 111 Most Promising Business Leaders“. Carnela’s book“Walking Afraid” and the “Walking Afraid – Action Plan”, chronicles Ms. Hill’s journey from Corporate America to full time entrepreneurship, health issues, depression and relationships. The book helps you document your journey and face those hard areas that are holding you back. She is a co-author of “The Fight”, women overcoming adversities and still standing strong. Carnela is passionate about mentoring the youth and just as passionate about mentoring and coaching business owners, because of the lessons she has learned from 20 years the entrepreneurial world. She is a Minister at Wake Chapel Church, a student at Duke Divinity School and President-Elect for National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Great Raleigh Chapter. She has an electric way of attracting people to her across various platforms and internationally. She is no stranger to the political world. Carnela is called upon to advise candidates running for office and to speak to legislators on various topics impacting entrepreneurs and interior designers.
